Glimpse of the Past: 9th and South St, Philly

I love looking at old photos and seeing what the same spot looks like now so I thought I'd make this a new feature.

This is a 1954 photo of 9th and South Street in Philadelphia (from PhillyHistory.org) and below it, a Google Street View image of what it looks like now. In fact, the PhillyHistory.org website has a built in Google Street View but not all the photos I highlight will be from this source.
